Sunday morning at RBL

Its Sunday folks.
The sun is up and about.
The birds are flying high above
Fewer cars are on the road.

But Nina and her brood are nowhere to be seen or heard.
Mana depa pi ni?
Makan kenduri rumah tokwan ka?
Its Nina's habit to bring her children to tokwan's house sometimes.

Nina!
Cikson hollered.
Oh ,there they are
Under the foliage of the still barren jambu trees ,the trio of mother and daughters were seen sleeping.
But at the slight sound of the glass door being opened,they jumped to their feet . To the house they would march.

Mamason,kami nak masuk ,boleh?
Pagi pagi boleh,satgi cikson sapu sampah kena keluar ya..Its their daily routine. Happy as a lark,they came marching into the house. The bamboo tatami mat under the dining table was their favourite scratching ground.

Afternoon comes and its time to cook the afternoon lunch.
Eh... nak masak apa nya cikli,cikson asked her hubby.
Teringat dia akan daging salai pemberian rakan anakanda dari Pahang sana... so to google she asked.
Resepi utk daging salai.
Masak lemak nogori smbilan pun sodaap.
Maybe she could try that. But where to get all those kunyit leaves.Nanti pi jenguk toksaad's kebun for a leaf or two. Sebelah rumah nampak pokok lenkuas dia gebu gebu saja. Minta sepotong dua,tentu tiada halnya.
But as it is, cikson bunga jenis suka meminta. Kalau tak ada ,tak adalah.

That sound is back.
Tuhua... tuhua...tuhuaaaaaa... suara burung tu datang kembali.

On a sunny Sunday morning, RBL readies for her daily activites..
