WCup –Final match Holland vs Spain

 

12.30 am

In about 90 minutes,the much hyped about match of the year,would be played.The kick off between  Holland and Spain would be started immediately after the referee blows the first whistle.

The boy requested something to eat and munch away during the match.So makcik being the ibu matahali pun gorenglah sepinggan bak cucur udang + ikan bilis + ubi kentang +bawang besar. To be eaten with cili sos  buatan sendiri. A pot of hot nescafe would do the magic to keep the eyelids firm and strong.

I’m off to catch a short sleep and be reporting back during half time. Bye.

 

3.30 a.m.

Half time break.The match was thrilling to watch.More yellow cards issued in contrast to the semi. Result 0-0.Tough fight 

 

 

5.15 a.m.

The new World Champion is Spain.Yes! I am correct.After a gruelling 30 additional minutes Netherlands went home second.

Viva Spain. Puyol ,and the scorer .Well done Spain.

   

 

The adverse scenes on the field –happy vs….. devastated

 

Didnt I told you Spain would win because they have a puyol in their team.And they brought the coveted all gold trophy back home to Madrid.By the way,the score is 1-0.

The next WC will be in Brazil.Apamacam M’sia?Boleh?

Most people go for Spain. Even the headline of UM carries it on the front page.

Missed  the game between Germany and Uruguay.Might be because of  tiredness .Cooking and welcoming the guests –my brother and his family who came visiting from 150 km away.Anyway,the Germans won as predicted by Mr.Paul the octopus. 3-2.

Tomorrow morning @ 2 ,hope nothing unforeseen will hinder the long awaited moment.

Who is the Winner? Oranje or the matadors.

final WC- Spain vs Netherlands.- sotong kata….

 

Sotong tak kata apa apa.Itu yang makcik baca dlm UM.Because,the soothsayer only predicts when the German team is involved.

So in the finals,no team is given a boost above the other. As it happened between Germany vs. Spain.The former went into the football pit with a gloom in their hearts.It has been said that En. Paul the sotong was correct in all 6 predictions regarding the Germans.So when they lost,they would probably say this:

Sotong dah kata!

Let me be the soothsayer for the finals.

I say the Spanish team will win because they have a puyol or is it tuyol. For Puyol scored the goal relatively easily.Like the goalkeeper kena blackmagic. And puyol just headed the jabulani into the goal which was wide open.

World cup- Germans vs Spain in Kangar @ 2.30 a.m

 

It was my second time watching this World Cup at this ungodly hour.The first being the Germans vs Ghana.Anyway that was concluded halfway. And I missed the much  talk about basketball football.

As I was writing,the much awaited match between the Spaniards and the Germans was into halftime break.

As tomorrow,I would be probably half awake,I had the fuzzy logic panasonic into working mode.As Dello was nowhere to handle the task,makcik juga yang kena.Dello had to be kept out because he is losing his hair and it would be in no time somebody catches an allergic or something to that matter.So Dello,find somewhere nice to sleep,will you.Poor darling.

Coming back to the game,Paul,the fortuneteller mollusk had  Spain in his favour.The watch was described as highly technical by the commentator .No goal was yet to be scored the past 40 minutes,seeing the ball 60% on the Spain  side.

Dont cry Argentina

Dah jadi macam  apa eh,bila semua team yang di sokong kena dibilang ‘ sayang  goodbye.’

First,I was for South Koreans but their early demise made me go for the Nippons.Lepas  Jepun balik sokong Portugal,lepas tu Brazil and then  is  Maradona’s team.

Semua dah kaput.

Jangan ingat makcik makcik tak minat bola  time  WC. Remembering the last WC,I recalled  the incident at Quality,SA  ( not waka waka neither uncle Johnny)Pakli and the children ganged up to watch the match on the giant screen .I was asleep when they got down.Opening my eyes to the empty room,the fear of being alone in the 20th storey hotel room overcame me.Rasa macam ada orang saja dok perhati.Lekas lekas rang up the father,dressed up and joined the gang.I was groggy from sleep but as the match got hotter ,my cheer got louder.

Mama ni jerit mengalahkan kami. The kids admonished me. I think that was the day,I got hooked to the game.

Argentine’s defeat must be a blessing to Maradona.He had made a pledge to run in his skin if  they become world champ. Tentulah tak sanggupkan nak lihat dia tertong teng  tong teng kalau jadi.

Anyway,Uruguay and Paraquay ,the Latinos are not yet tested.Pada ramalan makcik,the final fight could be between the team from Europe. Germany versus Holland in the final.Nak bet? Jangan, lesen dah di tarik balik!

Berhempas pulas namun kecundang penalty.The game was awesome but the finishing touch was lacking,empty .I think the Japs played like harakiri.Tempur sampai mati.Tapi tak ada rezeki.

Watching the game is one thing.But watching the pengurus,kadang kadang sangat serius.Macam encik pengurus Japan ini.Susah benar nak lihat expression muka dia.Selamba kodok sentiasa.Only once I chanced a glimpse of him muttering something.Kadang kadang keseriusan dia macam dia bukan orang tapi tentera terracota –bendasing.

The manager of the Para guan team was the opposite.Arms stretching,muscles flexing.You could in fact see  a vast spectrum of emotions on him.Thats it.

So Asia ,we dont make it to the semi of WC.Tapi apa nak malu kan.England,France pun macam tu.Now,most teams are from the South America. Betulkan gitu?

But the referee,macam bias.Kalau orang Jepun buat salah,cepat saja kad dilayang,dilibas .Kalau the other team,tak buat pula.Walau salah depan mata.Buat donno saja.

Makcik ni pagi pagi dah mengata.Tak aihhh.Bukan mengata,hanya curahan rasa.

Ok nak pi sidai baju.Washing machine dah menjerit eeeeet.

Watching WC matches is  becoming more thrilling.Mokjadeandell remembered those days when Malaysia once was the team to be reckoned.The late Super Mokh,Santokh Singh,Minhat and others were the heroes of M’sia.I was once in a teacher training center when the famous match was held.How we cheered and jeered.

Bye bye France,those goliaths in the football field. And it seems the WC  of 2010 saw many an upsets.Bye Italy.And South Korea.

Malaysia bila lagi? Kenapa sunyi?

Henti hentikanlah kontrovasi  and concentrate on jabulani instead of the likes of Rita Rudani .

Tu yang bila lawan di padang yang basah ,pasukan Malaysia mudah kena sesah.

Anyway,good show South Koreans,pakli bertempik habis retak pinggan dan cawan. Ingat dah kena sawan.Rupa rupa tengok bola kawan kawan.

Jabulani in Durban.

The caffeine in the cups of Nescafe is making havoc out of me. To spice up watching the Por-Bra game,makcik made a pot of the drink for pakli ,paen and me.And packets of ultra cream crackers.

What could be said of the two teams.Christiano Ronaldo ( or was it the other way round) was nimble with the flicks.Itu yang makcik tengoklah.But there was no finishing tasks as the Brazilians ( thought of the w--  somebody had ) were in their superior form.So no more 7-0  . 0-0 sajalah.

Come 2.30  another big match is here to be.But makcik had to be contented with watching the rerun.

The reason-its a matter of superiority.The idiot box or me.

Late night sleeping would be on hold when (if) makcik wear the name tag again. By 9 ,the aged eyes of mine are sure to have a power of their own.

Turn off  it will be.

Mokjadenadell does  have interests in the WC  which had now well into its second round.Betul !

Watching, the striker getting the red card and ordered out of the field , I know the Germs (oops) would be getting it.No sooner that I said that the Serbs  struck  a goal.

Back in my teaching days,times like this,My students would have a field day discussing the games.Although they might be 10  or 11,every goal scored,favourite player would be named in the sentences making.Thus sentences like this could come out from the students.

I was sad when Kloser was ordered out of the field.

The Germans kalah in the game last night.

I teriak sebak sebak.

Now,after the Korean defeat and the Germans nose dive ,which team should I go for ?
