Risau up North 2

 That TEMCO is now presently enforced in Kota Setar made the risau in me work overtime.

Ehhh nak risau buat apa? Some might ask.

Bukan terlibat pun... smirked another.

Ingat kat Tuhan... add a preacher.

Reading about about people fleeing the lockdowned area before the onset of the exercise put a damper on my heart. What la kalau dia pembawa. 

And then there were those who enter the proximity of the virus stricken area without much ado about anything.

Malau, Tunjang and a few areas not in Kota Setar as of yesterday KKM briefing had a number of positive cases. And this could potentially poses a threat to other areas as well. Perlis as an example.

People going to Pulau Langkawi have to enter Perlis as Kuala Kedah ferry is grounded. The other day when I was at the jetty, it was crowded. 

And as for Langkawi itself, luckily until yesterday none was tested positive. But the incubation period is 14 days kan. So results is yet to be seen.

Tolonglah... if you have no urgent matter, please stay away from here. KIV dululah nak bercuti2 kat Langkawi although its opened to do so. Duit boleh carilah sayang. 

As I was typing this post, I was quite perplexed to see quite a number of vehicles going to Kuala. Bas persiaran pun ada.  

Today ,I bet that the stretch of road along the sea at Kuala would be teeming with people.Ikan bakaq, lockching, laksa dok memanggil manggil ajak mai. 

Ehh.. takut apa? Jom pi seround petang ni!

Hmmm....

Kalau Makcik manatah dari Jitra terbersin pun, antibodi kita kuat. Tak jadi apa aiih. A few weeks before I was really annoyed by a patron of an eatery who sneezed a few smack feet away from me. Without a facemask..Heww..mujuq tak jadi apa. 

Fervently hope that this phase of our life laid to rest soon. Its getting on our nerves day by day to see the three digits cases.R naught kita pun dah meninggi. Dont let what happened in Italy, Spain ,Brazil be here. 

Rasanya orang yang ikuti twitter masa mula2 Wuhan kena serang dgn virus ini tau peritnya . How the lockdown in China was carried out. The extent of the suffering. Kalau tak mungkin tak tahu yang virus ni memporakperandakan kehidupan manusia . Selagi tiada vaksin. 

Kesian aku tengok DG KKM. Kadangkala terpancar kesedihan diwajahnya masa sidang akhbar. Dan aku yang follow fbnya terpaku bila jam telah dinihari, Tan Sri masih upkan postingnya tentang situasi kita. Kuatnya dia bekerja. May Allah SWT protect you.

11 September hari ni. 11.9.2020

11 haribulan September atau Nine eleven...9.11

Remembered too well the scenes that enfolded on tv.

The burning of the tower that brought the deaths of thousands. Grief. Grave deep griefs. Innocent loss of lives. Some say it was doctored. Regardless of what it was,it was gross.

Today 11 September,another close to home event is taking place. TEMCO in Kota Setar. As a Kedahan born and bred, now residing in Perlis, my heart is touched. Many relatives are involved . My uncle who is Tt's brother lives there. And so too is cikli's sister and family. Cikli's incle as well.

Last night at 12.01 Alor Setar was lockdowned until 22 September.

Stay safe Kota Setarians.

Hmmm... there were pictures of long queues at Mergong Tesco. People were rushing to buy their essentials before the closing time. Ramainya orang. Tak bimbang ke.

And another video showed long lines of cars passing the toll. People we seen rushing to get out of state before the closing of the border....presumably. Maunya ada pembawa... habihlah negeri2 lain.

It was not a beautiful sight to see people nudging each other at crowded places@ supermarkets. Racks of goods were emptied out of fear that they would be out of stock. 

Seems that we were constantly living in fear. Fear of the known and unknown.

Which I would like to remind myself.... love each other well. If you have parents still living in other states, call them,text them. Tell them you love them.... life is too fragile.

Today too ,one of the Big Stage contestant passed away tragically. She succumbed to an accident earlier.

HSB yang ku kenali...

 Terkejut aku mendengar sidang media MB Kedah petang semalam.

HSB antara pengumuman yang sebut. 

200 staf kena quarantin disitu.

Allahu.... kesian mereka.

HSB bagiku,salah satu hospital yang dekat dihati.

Bertahun aku berulang alik kesana mendapat rawatan dari pakar mata di sana.

Masih kuat diingatan,aku memandu terketar2 memasuki kawasan hospital mula2 dulu. Meninjau2 parkir yang kosong. Namun jangan diharap. Maka nun dihujung padang dibelakang bangunan hsopital tempat aku terpaksa pergi. Kalau musim hujan kawasan parking utk publik itu seakan sawah di musim pugar.

Lepas tu menapak pula menuju tempat cikli mendapat rawatan. Memasuki lorong2 yang adakala kalau leka boleh tersesat. Menuju pendaftaran yang sesak. Lepas itu menaiki tangga ke tingkat atas. Disambut oleh manusia2 melaut banyaknya. Semua kerana memerlukan perkhidmatan doktor2 pakar mata di situ.

Datuk... itu gelaran buat seorang wanita yang menjadi teraju bahagian mata ketika itu. Such a sweet, kind and humble personality. Tak pernah kalau keluar dari bilik Datuk, terasa negative. Terasa berat apa yang ditanggung. She was the kind of head yang menyenangkan. Urusan jadi senang kalau datuk benarkan.

So indebted to her and her staffs. Dari teraba2 cikli sekarang boleh dah membaca teks message, memandu .Alhamdulillah.

Beberapa kali juga kami terpaksa stay in utk operation mata cikli. Ada peristiwa menggelikan . Kes apek yang tinggi bacaan gulanya sbb aku beri dia minum milo kotak.Kes aku yang rabun dan punat lif yang nombor turutannya tak ku jangka,buat aku gelabah tahap cipan@ tapir... haha. Ehhh tapir suka gelabah ya?

HSB... Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah

Aku rindu pasembur mu. Boleh pagi2 pun dah makan pasembur. Dah makan boleh tapau lagi.

HSB... am grateful to you. 

Thank you Doktor, nurses, staff,pak guard,makcik guard yang rajin aku bersembang.

Semoga semua dilindungi Allah dalam ujian ini. 

Teringat pemandangan ini.... Kampung Telaga agaknya..

Risau di Utara

 Risau benar kami di utara sekarang ni. Hilang semangat lihat sidang media DGKKM jam 5.30 petang semalam.

100 ! macam tak percaya .

Ya... semalam begitulah. 100 orang positive covid19. Gerunnya.

22 di wilayah utara ini dan selebihnya di Sabah.

Di Sabah pesakit dalam penjara. Confined cases.

Tapi yang risaunya di Kedah. Dalam community. Hospital pulak tu.

Dan lebih lebih risau bila khabar menyatakan staf hospital dah bergejala sejak 30/8. Namun tidak mendapatkan rawatan. Malah berdermawisata ke Pulau Langkawi pd 5 dan 6 September. What? Pi Langkawi masa tgh sakit sakit. 

Dia naik apa pi Langkawi? Dia naik dari mana? Dia pi mana? Dia duduk mana?.... all those questions popped up like wildfire. 

HIG, Malibest, Kilim adalah antara nama2 tempat yang disebut sebut. 

Jenuh nak buat contact tracing.

Satu lagi kes pi makan kenduri. Ada pengumuman sesiapa yang pi attend kenduri akad nikah disatu kawasan di Penang kena pi buat swab test. Minta2 tu kenduri adik di Kulim tidak ada apa apa. Dijauhi segalanya.

Kluster Sungai atau lebih tepat kluster KMC ni dah melarat sampai Arau,Perlis. Katanya staf hospital kat situ. Arau dengan tempat cikson tinggal ni tak sampai 10 minit cikson pandu kereta. 

Lalu ikut Highway Changloon - Kuala . 

Risau cikson kat utara. Lebih risau mereka yang bersukaria kat Pulau Langkawi rasanya. Mereka yang mengharungi jalan sesak dari timur dan selatan. Datang ke pulau utk merehatkan badan dipulau yang cantik pemandangan.Namun bila balik bawa igauan....
