Yesterday,yet another record high for our beloved motherland Msia.

I quivered when the statistic was out for yet another day of covid related mortality.

I gulped. No. no, not another record please....

That sunken feeling reeled in my heart and I felt sorry.

Sorry for those who lost their family members.

Monkey! Where are youuuu ? I called out. Soon I spied him resting peacefully under the table.

Ehh kat sini ya. Awat tak keluar?

Monkey didnt pay heed to my question. He shrugged and continued sleeping.

Cikli was away at his mom's house for a chat. Its in the same compound. A few steps away.

Sapu sampah dah. Basuh pinggan dah. Ehh what to do before I start cking for our afternoon meal? I turned to the comfort f my gadget..haha

Scrolling around,I was attracted to a sale on marketplace.

Vinca gantung for RM 18.00!

Aha... a wicked scheme soon materialised. Berbelanjalah apa lagi..hihi.

Contacted the seller by the name of Nurul.

After a few exchanges , I made a purchase. 8 hanging vincas and petunias. 

By six the purchased vincas and petunias were hung successfully around the compound of RBL. 

I need some thing to while away. To brighten my sunken heart . Hope the flowers do enlighten the day for me. 

Hari hari dok ikut statistik covid buat hati terasa cemas.

Semoga perasaan ini diubati dengan pokok pokok bunga ini. I shared my daughter's view when she bought plants to brighten her balcony in KL.

Betul juga kata dia... Masa masa begini kena cari sesuatu yg dapat menyenangkan hati. 

Semoga bunga bunga vinca dan petunia yg dibeli bertahanlah dan memberi seri pada kehidupan ciklicikson sehari hari.

This is the second raya that we have to undergo during our lockdown. Raya tanpa raya. Sedih.

Namun tersedia juga gulai ayam dan rendang ayam buat cicah ketupat .

Missing our normal raya terribly.

 When I was young and posted to the hinterland of Selangor,there was this one song that I always hummed. The Green Green Grass of Home...

Ulu Selangor and to be exact Felda Gedangsa... oh how could I forget.

The window of my room opened to a view of the large expanse of oil palm trees. Plains and hills of them. I had my first self bought music player and bought  a few records . And you know the song that I kept on playing was the Green Grass of Home..

Reading about the latest development in our beloved country,I could nt help not feeling down.

Soaring is the number of C19 cases at this moment esp in the Kalng Valley. Alas my children and cucus are all there. Its the school holiday right now. But... nobody's coming back. Even with the raya soon.

This Sunday could be a day when I anticipate the returns of my children with their families. 

But what to doooo.... dari jauh kita berkirim salam dan bertanya khabar. Rindu tolak tepi. Takut bahaya yg menanti .

Kepada ibubapa yg anak anak tak balik, usahlah berkeluh kesah. Merayu supaya anak anak pulang. 

Bahaya ! Kita tak nampak tapi ada dimana mana dan dibawa oleh sesiapa saja.

Rumput dilaman pun berkata...Usah pulang wahai perantau. Jangan jadi pembawa covid ke desa. Kami akan hijau bila bila masa.

Meroket ke langit....

 Semalam, ketika diumumkan data terkini C19 , tergamam kita seketika. 

11k! 11,000 !

Kes positif dalam negara kita dah meroket hingga 11 ribu . Walaweiii...kata anak anak muda.

Terbaca satu artikel... Kat KL dan Selangor sebenarnya 1 out of 10 kalau di uji tentu positif.

Gitu hebatnya kita. Dah masuk dalam berita BBC,CNN, Al Jazeera dan seangkatannya. 

Semalam juga barisan pejuang kita mengadakan sidang media utk menerangkan keadaan sebenar. Ada kelibat DG, juga beberapa tokoh yg tak ku ketahui... The Spanish Fly guy macam tak perasan pula kehadirannya.

Riuh seketika bila menteri yg bertanggungjawab berkenaan hal ehwal kesihatan kita pun confuse antara fly dan flu. Mungkin juga slip of the tongue.

Namun bila diamati dan di turuti news around the world, bukan kita saja yang berada dalam keadaan begini. Hampir semua negara dunia terjebak dalam krisis pandemik semasa ini. Macam macam varian yg dapat kita dengari... beta, gama, lambda 

Entah bila semua ini akan berakhir. Hanya Tuhan saja yang mengetahui.

Anda dah divaksin? Kalau belum cepatlah dapatkannya. Usah terpengaruh dengan dakyah antivaks semua tu.

Anak anak cikson termasuk kami suami isteri dah . Kecuali yang tinggal di Pahang. Lambat benau ya orang Pahang dapat vaksin.

Semalam anak kedua dapat dos pertama di UKM ppv. Syukur. AZ katanya. Sabtu ni pula anak ketiga. Yang bongsu akan menerima dos kedua AZ 

Semua sanak saudara cikli yang seusia kami dan ibu mertua pun selamat divaksin. Sekarang giliran anak anak saudara pula. None in our immediate family are anti vaks gitu. 

Tadi terbaca diblog , yang meninggal boleh dikatakan 99 peratus yg belum divaksin. Orang yang dapat vaksin boleh dijangkiti tetapi tidaklah mudarat hingga hilang nyawa.

Hope vaksin utk anak anak kecil pula boleh dibuat tidak lama lagi. Risau baca ada bayi yg meninggal akibat covid ni. 

Terkini tergelak juga tgk kreativiti begini

Dah dah... bila Perlis mencatat 0 ( kosong ) kes  dua hari berturut, berbanding Greater KL  adalah yg melawak begini..

Tapi janganlahhh... Perlis ni besaq kelemboi saja. Mau cunggit bumi Perlis kalau pakat dok serbu mai ramai ramai. 

Kalau MB Perlis ti Trump mau dibina tembok kelililing Perlis macam ni...pulak ada yg dah berimajinasi... 

Dalam situasi begini, kadang kadang lawak lawak begini adalah sikit mencerah hari.

Syabas orang Perlis... jangan meroket ke langit sudahlah lepas ni.. Sama sama kita patuhi SOP. Duduk dirumah!
