Khabar dari negeri tercinta.........

 Allahuakbar. Tersentak sejenak bila menatap perkhabaran apa yang berlaku disitu. Negeri kelahiran cikson dan tempat cikson membesar ditimpa bencana. 

Situ juga ada saudara mara jauh dan dekat. Semoga mereka selamat dalam bencana ini. 

Gunung Jerai selalu cikson intai bila melalui lebuhraya Utara Selatan. Juga bila berETS ke selatan tanah air. Dan satu kesempatan,kami anak beranak berkereta ke atasnya. Sempat menikmati keindahan dan kesejukan di sana. Sempat juga merasa cemas dan kecut perut masa kereta menaiki jalan ke sana.

Lihat kepada kerosakan yang terjadi, entah bila lah agaknya keadaan akan normal kembali.

Khabarnya ada beberapa mangsa terlibat dalam kejadian semalam. Harta benda yang rosak lagilah. Melihat video video disocial media , perit tentunya mereka yang mengharunginya. 

Pagi ni ,mengikut BBC, cuaca di kawasan kita masih membimbangkan. Hati hati semua. Di Perlis pun cuaca mendung pagi ini. Tiada sinaran matahari walau hari sudah meninggi.

Kedah... semoga Allah melindungi mu. Penduduk mu. 

Sesungguhnya... tiada kata dapat bercerita.

 After  what transpired yesterday, whats in store for us ,the ordinary laymen?

A new horizon?

The same horizon painted differently ?

What will be, will be.

It will be just time for us to see.....

Yes, PM tendered his resignation among calls for him to step down.

Honourably, he did what was asked for. But .... is it for good or worse is there to come.

Brace yourself fellow citizens.

Hope we wont be the next Afghanistan..... turmoil is the land.

Yesterday, in the news was the Telaga Cluster

Oh, my dear,I told my husband dear.

It could be us , if fate didnt interfere.

 ......cikli dapat appointment in that fated ward a few days before the fateful incident. Just 3 days to be exact. His appointment was on the 29,30 th of July. On the 1st of August was his date for his procedure. Maybe in the same ward, operation theatre as the virus spread. Ten ! Ten people lost their lives and the whole ward was not spared. The nurses, the carers, the patients as well as their family members came down with the dreadful Covid19.

Cikli forgo his long awaited appointment and wentt for an earlier operation at KPJ in Kangar. Kalau tidak entahlah...

Pagi ni selepas menutup pintu pagar, cikson saja saja ambil gambar. Gambar suasana awal pagi RBL.

Resepi kotiau asal ada...

1. Ketuk 2,3 ulas bawang putih

2. Letak minyak, goreng hingga kuning bawang puitih.

3. Pecahkan teloq sebiji. Bagi pecah2 gitu

4. Masukkan kitiau. Tuang kicap pekat manis secukupnya. Balik balikkan. Siap. Angkat.

Kuah atau gravynya...

Bubuh sajalah apa yang ada dalam petiais. Asal lalu telan.

Letak sauce yg rasa sedap . Bubuh kiub stengah, sayoq yang ada. Jgn lupa masa awal tumih cili giling sampai masak...

What More in Store for Us ? .....

 Perlis. A small state the size of my home district. A population of 200k. 

When the virus struck most part of Msia, and the population live in fear, we were spared. We were moved into the third phase of Plan Pemulihan whatnot. Serene is the life in the north. Free to dine in and travel within the state. How most of us rejoiced at the new found freedom.

Alas... that doesnt last long. The feeling of safety came crashing down yesterday.

50 positive covid 19 cases at our doorsteps!

The stark reality struck us. We are in limbo too. We are in the same boat as the rest .

Reading about shops and restaurants near our old home closing down their business, the wet market , a factory in Chuping and other spots is disheartening indeed.

Allahurobbi... covid is real. Its not hearsay . Its here !

At 6 yesterday, our PM came on air. Following his speech and plea, its disheartening too. This struggle for power and dominance is not ending soon. My sincere hope is for Msia to come through this all . Skin and all intact.

Seeing hubby as early as 7 out of the house for his dialysis too is making the wife a tad sad. May Allah keep you safe. This is our life now. Without fail. Zaharah Dialysis centre please take good care of him.

Ya Allah... I left the rice cooker on. The sambal is being cooked!

Mujoq lagi hidung masih boleh menghidu bau. Its a sign that I am still alright. Aamiiin. 

Harini tentu macam macam lagi yang akan singgah dimata, telinga dan hati kita.
