Once again, on Bollyone I saw a movie that move my heart by yards.
Selalunya cerita Bollywood ni kalau tak cinta cintun tak sah. But this one movie is really miles apart from the normal script of beautiful heroines falling for handsome heroes...lain selain lainya,
Cerita seakan akan lawak. Tapi ada pengajaran. I love to find the pengajaran in films that I watch. Kalau sekadar boom boom bang, bunuh sana bunuh sini....eeei its not my cup of tea.
Baik I pi lipat kain atau buang sawang lagi senang hati.
Oh ye... back to the story lepas meleret berlori lori...hihi.
A father who is a taxi driver placed high hopes for his daughter. Impian dia nak anak jadi macam Lata Mangeshkar.
Selalu kita ingat kalau nak jadi star diBollywood tentulah yg cantik bak bidadari. Alas.. daughter dia pula berisi gadisnya. Bump bump . Tapi dia suka menyanyi.
Dia bawa anak dia pi uji bakat, masuk pertandingan, namun mereka diketawakan. Dimalukan.
Sampailah dia satu hari terkidnap Aishwira Rai...as Baby Singh.
The plot thickens when the father cooked up plans to make the recording company came out with his own song sang by his daughter.
At the last twist , his daughter Lata became a singing sensation.
This brought me to my own father's dream.
My father was steadfast in his dreams. Walau ada masa dia hilang pertimbangan , pelajaran anak2 dia utamakan.
The other day , I was talking to another lady at HSB. When the lady asked me where I was from, I proudly told, Iwas a daughter of a mee seller in Kulim. And my father's wildest dream to have a child with the highest education was granted.... in my youngest sister.A professor.
Accolades to go to my hubby . Susah payah dia utk 4 anak2 dia belajar hingga semua masuk U shouldnt be ignored.
Kebanyakan mesyuarat sekolah dia yg hadiri.Dia tauke so ambik cuti tak jadi hal.
Satu hari makcik sibuk dapur, tautau anak dok nyanyi kat Looking Good Superstore... lagu Hari Raya.
Anak2,
Kenang jasa ayah, walau mungkin dia ada buat salah.
Lebih2 lagi kalau dia bersusah payah utk anak2 sekolah.
Thats all folks. Bye...
NB..
By the way, after googling, I came across this.
The movie is Fanney Khan starring Anil Kapoor. The teenage girl Lata Sharma;made herself plump for the role..
And this is the part during the Got Talent episode... enjoy...
There's a place for not so endowed people. Physically I mean . A father's love for his daughter well played.
