The haze,the heat and the cheat

Looks like the haze is here once again.
Breathing doesnt seem easy.
The air is languid with smoke.

Peeping out, oh no someone is burning rubbish in the neighbourhood!
Not realising that the reading according to met is unhealthy.
Seems that a state in the east coast is having her bad day...Pahang has the worst haze reading to speak.
Hope it doesnt warrant me and my love ones a visit to the doctor. Nebulizer and all.

The heat too is unbearable these days.
So going out is on our not to do list.
Except for the trip to the grocers and fish market.

The haze and the heat seem to get into some people,I reckon.

Well the story be like....

It was quite late in the evening when we ventured out that day. With the agenda of an early dinner and some grocery shopping. Plus some wet items.
So off we went for dinner at 6 and then to one of the shop that sells fish at the other side of town.

Was I not glad that at that time of the day, there were quite a supply of fish,cuttle fish, prawns on sale.
Wah... tanpa berlengah cikson pun pilihlah ikan2 dan sotong utk ration 3,4 hari.
So 2 ekor ikan kerisi
2 ekor ikan selar
2 ekor ikan gelama
2 ekor sotong sederhana besar
6 ekor ikan temenung...were the items bought plus some veggie.

Dah terbayang2 nak masak asam pedas ikan kerisi,kerabu sotong, masak asam ikan gelama etc etc.

The next morning, cikson started cleaning the fish.
Waaaarghhhh.... what a smell!
The kerisi was rotten to the core.
The temenung yellowed.
The sotong tooooo.

Ehhh..kenapa dah kena sampuk apa niii?
Elok saja ikan yang dipilih semalam. Mata pun ok,isi pun padat. Kenapa bila pagi ni jadi lagu ni?
Tak ada apa yang terlintas selain ikan2 itu dah kena bahan kimia pengawet. The smell of chemical was the tell tale.
I was certain it wasnt my mistake as I put the fish the instant I reached home into the fridge. freezer.

Gerammnnya...
Wahai tuan punya kedai,kalau nak untung pun janganlah memudaratkan orang.
It was cheating ,you know.
Kalau orang jatuh sakit, apa pun tak boleh.
And that would be the last time I will visit the shop.

Really la... I cannot take orang berniaga yang tak ada etika .
Dulu kena dgn kedai bunga yang jual bunga dah guna. Masih ada stapler kat bunga bunga yg dijual.
Dan satay yang re heat semalam punya.
Dan penjual2nya orang kita.

Haaa.. kat padang besar pun hati2 na..Orang kita pun tidak kurangnya penaya pembelinya.
