Semalam yakni kelmarin ciklicikson menghabiskan masa mereka di klinik dan di hospital.
Pagi pagi lagi semasa staff klinik remedic sibuk membetulakn itu ini kami dah tercegat di muka pintu.
By 8.20 selesai babak pertama. Dan off to Aloq Staq we went in a chartered taxi.
After an hour of travelling on the Jitra-Pulau Pisang road,we reached our destination...Hospital Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah.
Aduhaiiiii........begenuak manusia.Segala macam ada.
Yang berpimpin,yang berkendung,yang berkerusi roda semua ada. Semua kerusi penuh . Semua standing spaces penuh.Mujur lagi cikli akur cadangan cikson utk bawa kerusi roda.Kalau tidak jenuh dia nak berdiri.
Cikson ke bahagian mengambil nombor . Hmm... 1122. Ada dekat 60 nombor sebelum dipanggil di kaunter bermula dengan angka 1.
Sabar menunggu dan sesekali merenung kad unggu berlaminate yang tertulis ..FAST LANE.
Hampir sejam lebih baru nombor cikli di panggil utk arahan ke bahagian klinik mata ditingkat 2.
Memasuki ruang klinik pakar mata,cikson park kerusi roda cikli di satu penjuru. Menapak ke kaunter yg di isi tiga petugas satu Malaysia.
Mungkin kerana penat ,perut kosong,kepala pening cikson terghalit dari membaca dgn teliti notis dikotak kecil hadapan kaunter itu.Maka laju cikson masukkan kad pesakit cikli ke dalam bekas. Bila menapak kebelakang baru realise itu bukan bekas yg appropriate.
Tangan nak capai kad tapi terlewat satu second.
Maknya staff muka tegang dah pegang kad tu dulu.
Cik ,maaf saya tersilap letak kad. Boleh tak ambil balik.
Without even lifting her face to look at me,was her pert reply.
Lain kali jangan buat lagi...pi duduk tunggu giliran.
What? I was asking for the card that was just a second in the wrong place and she couldnt bother to lift her fingers to flick the cards which was right in front of her.
Tak boleh ke tolong orang tua ni sikit.
I could well see that she could layan her same skin patients...dengan senyaum dan pandang muka lagi.
So I stepped back and waited . I could see her calling names after names and doing the search and all.
Whereas the counter where I was supposed to put the card was just next to her shoulder.
Well after 15 minutes like that and after seeing patients at the right counter being given number within seconds,I was like fuming inside.
Well....during my course of duty,I was sure I didnt stay out of the way to help people if they approach for help especially parents in need and older than me..
Cards after cards were processesed ,recorded and handed back to the patients until cikli's card.
When his name was called I was ten numbers behind....
Good SOP I said...
Ushered cikli into the space for menunggu.Here cikli was lucky to be attended by good natured staff especially the doctor....
And it 3 when all was finalised.
And again we had to be there like 3 or 4 times more as the scheduled said.
And I MUST be vey very careful to read the notice . Lest I meet this experience again.
Tersilap satu second boleh buat kita menunggu lama utk mendapat nombor giliran dibahagian klinik pakar mata Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah. Jangan cuba2 merayu utk membetulkannya kerana TIADA MAAF UTK KESALAHAN disini.
Oh well....not all were bad experiences. The doctors and staff dibilik rawatan adalah terbaik.
On a brighter note,I was happy to see my dear sister , husband and daughter who flew all the way from KL ,visiting us at the hospital. Thank sis.
Dr Bib and hubby Dr Hamzah ....selamat menyambut menantu.
