Just be and you are

image

Too much information
Need to calm down, let go
Breath in peace
Worry and anxious feelings
Need to close your eyes, let go
Breathe and release

All of a sudden the people,
the talking, the telephone,
all fades away
You visit a place in a timeless
dimension where all of your
fears are at bay

You can fly away
Fly like a bird
Across the sky
Above the clouds so high
Moon and the stars
Light up the sky

Presence fights illusion
It’s not all as serious as
your mind
Wants you to think it is
Unsure of your future
Need to focus on,
what you want
And something will come
your way

All of a sudden the negative
voices and weaknesses
all fade away
You visit a place in a timeless
dimension where all of your
fears are at bay

You can fly away
Fly like a bird
Across the sky
Above the clouds so high
Moon and the stars
Light up the sky

Sun sets low across the bay
A beautiful light
Closes the day
You can visit anytime
It’s always there
Just close your eyes

(You know, you know, you
know, you know, you know
If you wanna be, home free,
just breathe
You know, you know, you know,
you know, you know
If you wanna be, home free,
just breathe
You know all you need, all you
need, all you need, all you
need, is to feel connected
You know all you need, all you
need, all you need, all you
need, is to be connected
Slow down, slow down,
what you rushing for)

Mr.Akshay Kapoor

sir,

Thee one I’m indebted to cos the lyrics are what I’m looking for.

Would like to share with my girls.

circa of 1960’s

Driving on our mission to Bandar Baharu we came across many spots that bring memories of yesteryears.

Sekolah Sultan Badlishah and Sek. Keb. Tunku Abdul Malik were the two schools that I went.Starting from year 4 ,I couldnt visualise how a frail 10 year old had to fight for a place in the bus.

When the bus made their disappearing acts ,my friends and I had to walk all the way home from Kilang lama to JPL ,a distance of nearly 8 kilometres.( or is it more?)

The sight of SBS bought clear memories of Mr. Rao our dreaded Science teacher.Being held in detention class for laughing at Miss ( forgotten the name) .Well it was the whole class!

Mr. …. who  taught science the match making way.

It was like this:

Girl, pick your boyfriend to read page …..

Boy,which girl would you like to read

and the boys were asked to donate their tang tang  for the microscope.

Our PMR science result : well that’s history.

It was FFFFFFFFF or XXXXXX!!!! Ha ha

Anyway am proud to be a Badlishan.

bowling ,meminang and eid

The short eid holiday was quite eventful . The first day being observed in Perlis. Thus the sembahyang raya ,makan makan and  maaf maafan.Out of the blue someone suggested a bowling spree!

So the whole Pak Saad and Tok Ma’s clan were seen having their feet and arms seroiusly put to test on the floor of Jitra mall bowling alleys.

The bowling balls were seen either going for strikes or masuk longkang much to the cheer of tok and mak long and  the underaged children.

The second day saw En. Ley’s clan leaving for SP in Kembara and X trail.

Leaving the children behind in SP we make way to Bandar Baharu 0n a mission ……..meminang anak dara orang!

Driving thru the meandering roads we arrived at the destination .Being a first timer at being the spokesperson for the groom side ,En.Lan rallied the help of his able bodied abang Ley.

So the two buddies managed through the whole ritual with flying colours.

When the anak dara came out we were practically bowled over. She’s such a beauty.

macam Ayu Raudhah mak teh exclaimed

Going out I told the groom’s mother to have the wedding as soon as possible . Manalah tau kut kut ada freakies yang tak boleh tengok tunang orang.

Anyway the groom is not a softie either. Being an Ir. I know he is a valued menantu to be.And I hope and wish the journey to building their dreams would be calm and beautiful. As beautiful as the bride.

To my nephew

selamat bertunang Ir. Fadzli.

Mak cik ada anak lain dak

saya pun tak kahwin lagi

I had a good laugh.

journey home

At this point of writing my children as  well as thousands other mothers’ children are on their exodus home.

My dearest Lin and Aten must be on the tiring journey of more than half a day to KL and then proceeding to the east coast.

Ina and her friend leaving after Isyak must be inching their way along the  approx 600 kilometres to metropolitan KL.

This bring back memories to the days when I had to battle my journey to Tanjong Malim on the packed train. The day of express buses was not the way to travel back then in the 70’s.So just imagine even the toilet seat is good enough to rest one tired bum!

dear daughters

drive carefully and have a safe journey home.

Loving you alwaysimage
