Eiduladha of 2020 @ RBL

Eidul Adha 2020 came and go.
Today, the 4th day of Raya Haji as we commoners put it ,its back to the square one....empty nest for the tiny abode.
The brood went back to their roosting place yesterday noon after a 4 day stay .
Ciklin came with her hubby.
Cikten came with hubby, the cucus and cikina in tow.
Only the elusive sonny bonny didnt come home for the raya as he had returned earlier and had to work until raya eve. Poor soul.

Cikson had her hands full dishing her family favourite dishes.
Hmm..lets see what we filled our stomachs with....
Rendang ayam pedas with ketupat
Spagetti masakan cikten
Asam pedas ikan parang kegemaran cikina
Gulai kepala ikan
Mee kuah special
Bihun goreng cina and bihun goreng cikson.
And fro the first time ever we had bbq in the yard with ciklin and hubby as chef. Quite a spread and the chicken, lamb and beef marinated with a special recipe from Pahang..... sedaaap.

With covid still ravaging, we didnt go visiting nor did we receive visitors.
Sivagangga mamak shop was just a 30 minutes drive away. Its scary reading the extent of the infection.
Today the area is under lockdown. TEMCO as it is named.

We had ikan bakar at a new venue.
Jemulah asyik komalaut saja, said my children.
So on hari raya haji night ,we booked a table at Diya Ikan Bakar. For RM 163 for 6 adults its relatively cheap. The food second only to Mona.
People were seen wearing mask as it was already the 1st of August. But one particular really annoyed me. She was without one and nonchalantly walked around the premise. Then... Hukhuk... she coughed.
I gave her an annoyed look. Isssh dok batuk pulak. Dah la tak pakai mask! Harap2 tu janganlah dia mai dari Napoh.

All the raya haji visitors went home yestreday. Today they may be dead tired after a 12 hour journey. Kesiannya.
Dah la hari ni kena kerja! Double kesiannya.

Anyhow...syukur Alhamdulillah atas nikmat Allah dapat berkumpul dengan anak2,cucu2 dan menantu raya ni. After a quiet Eidul Fitri, Eidul Adha came with a sparkle in our hearts.

Bye...Salam Eidul Adha yang tertunda folks.
