Makan sajalah pakli.

There’s a lot of shouting in the living room.The two gentss of the house are having their time .Watching tv lah dude.Bukan gusti.

That aside.

And the story I m going to recall is yesterday’s event.Nothing great.

It was dinner time and I have planned to have dinner out that night.So after maghrib,we set off to town.The place was that never have been to Dapur Ibuku restaurant where I had lunch with the school gang .In town after some business  at the bank,we suddenly changed our idea. Find some place near town as Dapur Ibuku is a bit out of the way.

Hmm why not Santai.I volunteered.I saw it the other day.So off we went to Santai but it is still under reno and not opened yet for business.

At last we headed into the hotel coffee house….

The place was deserted saved for a few uniformed individuals.The dimly lit place looked like it was not in business.Sunyi sajaaaa. We were then heralded to a corner where we took ages to go over the menu.

Adoi…mahalnya .Mee goreng mamak pun 18 RM.

And the chicken chop was 23+++.

Makan sajalah.Malulah nak keluar.I said when cikli suggested we moved to another place.

Ya lah siapa suruh masuk hotel yang bintang bintang.Jadi bila nak bayar tentulah nampak bintang.

For that dinner of chicken chop,nasi goreng kampung and drinks ,hampir 60 linggit untuk berdua.Haiya.

With that 60,we could have breakfast ,lunch and dinner for 2 for 2 days…..tapau.

And untuk itu I can say it is only a 1 * meal at a 3*** star hotel.

 

Tapi kesian pula lihat business depa.At the carpark there were only 2 cars and at the restaurant there was only 1 couple.

Teringat mamason masa menolong paklong berniaga.Ada hari kami yang makan jualan untuk hari itu sampai mata naik juling.

Begitu juga teringat anak murid di SK Kayang yang memulangkan balik wang yang dipinjam dengan kata:

Hutang kena bayar!

Tentu tauke letak tangan atas dahi masa tidur sambil mata terkebil kebil.
